For current human resources professionals or those who plan to enter the field, the College of Extended Learning at CSU San Bernardino offers two classes in January 2011 that apply to its Certificate in Human Resources Management. The 10-week, in-depth courses, “Employment Recruitment and Selection” and “Health, Safety and Security Requirements” begin on Tues. evening, Jan. 18 and Thurs. evening, Jan. 20. Courses will cover a wide variety of topics relating to employee health/safety as well as strategies to attract and hire the best employees.

Each 10-week course is $420 (including class materials). “Employment Recruitment” meets on Tuesdays from 6-9 p.m., January 18-March 22, and “Health and Safety” meets on Thursdays, 6-9 p.m., January 20-March 24. Both classes will be held in the Yasuda Center at Cal State San Bernardino.
