Manuel Saucedo, Candidate for 52nd Assembly continues his momentum with environment in mind
Ontario, CA – July 15, 2013 – Manuel Saucedo, Candidate for the 52nd Assembly continues his push for a better quality of life by emphasizing an environmentally friendly campaign. As he goes door to door canvassing neighborhoods from Fontana to the east and Pomona to the west, Manuel Saucedo leaves at each household a reusable shopping bag made from recycled materials. In an effort to encourage people to save the environment by using the bag instead of plastic bags, he hopes to spread the message of reuse and recycle and vote for Manuel Saucedo for Assembly.
“The need to be environmentally friendly starts with all of us, and as a campaign we need to make sure we do as we say” said Manuel Saucedo. In recent elections various community based organizations have voiced their concern over environmentally friendly campaigns. Manuel Saucedo stated that “I have been approached by members of the community and were very pleased that my campaign was handing out reusable shopping bags and not flooding them with unrecyclable mailers due to the ink used” Manuel Saucedo invites not only voters but all members of the community to pick up their reusable shopping bag and help the environment.
The newly drawn district is not new to Manuel Saucedo, he served these communities well both as a representative to the late CA State Senator Nell Soto and as college advisor to students for Cal Poly Pomona. “I have over 25 years of public service to these communities, and am well aware of the issues that face this district” said Manuel Saucedo. “The communities of this district need a strong advocate and coalition builder and I posses the experience and knowledge to ensure our district gets its fair share”.
