QUICKBOOKS QUICKSTEPS TO BE HELD ON APRIL 3 AT WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER

PALM DESERT, Calif. – QuickBooks QuickSteps, a prelude to the CVWBC QuickBooks series, will take place on April 3, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:30 at 44-199 Monroe Street in Indio.

QuickSteps is a three hour hands-on, intensive look at the QuickBooks software designed to let participants evaluate their aptitude and proficiency in the software before investing a substantial amount of time and money in purchasing and learning it.

Instructor for the workshop is Vicki Beckner, of Computer U, LLC.

Cost for the workshop is $20. If participants elect to take the six part QuickBooks Pro Series through CVWBC, the $20 is applied to the cost of that series.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
