The City of Fontana announces that due to unforeseen circumstances, the City will not be participating in the Auto Club Speedway’s 4th of July celebration. The Auto Club Speedway Red, White and Cruise event has been a summer tradition for the community, but unfortunately it was necessary to cancel this year’s event. The City looks forward to participating with the Auto Club Speedway in 2013 to celebrate Independence Day.

Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to celebrate Independence Day at Red, White, and Cruise at the Auto Club Speedway on July 4.
*Update – The last day for Fontana residents to purchase discounted tickets is Saturday, July 2 at three locations in Fontana: the Don Day Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue, from 8am to 5pm & 7pm to 9pm; the Jessie Turner Center, located at 15556 Summit Avenue, from 8am to 6pm and the Community Services Office, located at 16860 Valencia Avenue, from 8am to 5pm. Tickets are no longer available at City Hall. Discounted tickets are $7.00 per person. Children age 6 and under are free. Tickets are available only during the times indicated.
Fontana residents can purchase pre-sale tickets for a discounted price. Tickets are now available until July 2, and are $7.00 per person for Fontana residents. Children age 6 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the Don Day Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue, the Jessie Turner Center, located at 15556 Summit Avenue, the Community Services Office located at 16860 Valencia Avenue, and City Hall located at 8353 Sierra Avenue. Tickets are available during regular business hours. On July 4 tickets will only be available at the Auto Club Speedway box office for $15 per adult and $10 for kids’ age 7 to 12.
Red, White and Cruise is a great opportunity to spend a day full of fun and excitement with the whole family. This year’s activities include Stars & Pipes Motorcycle Ride, Car Cruise & Show, local vendors, carnival rides, children’s zone, live music, and will feature a spectacular fireworks show.
This year’s event will feature live performances by country singer Steve Holy, and country bands Eli Young Band and The Dirt Drifters.
