Second Annual Fontana Dog Days
Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public and their canine friends to attend the second annual Dog Days at the Fontana Dog Park on Saturday, November 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fontana’s Dog Days is a free family event “to help promote responsible dog ownership,” according to Community Services Coordinator Tara Cloke.
Dog Days starts with a morning dog walk, followed by various activities including giveaways and games for the whole family. There will be demonstrations by Fontana Police K-9 units and other performance dogs. The event will offer dog lovers the opportunity to learn about their pets and to speak with veterinarians, groomers, Orange Empire Dog Club and American Kennel Club representatives, pet store representatives and others. For the aspiring dog owner there will be opportunities to learn which type of pet may be best for their home and family.
Fontana’s Dog Days will be at the Fontana Dog Park, located at 15556 Summit Avenue, in the northeast corner of Fontana Park.
