Upcoming Fitness Classes Miller Fitness Center
Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to register for upcoming fitness classes at the Miller Fitness Center.
Racquetball Fundamentals is a four week class teaching participants the basics of fast-pace racquetball. Participants must wear goggles while in the racquetball court and provide their own racquet. The class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Registration is open for the next session which begins on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The fees for this class are $40.00 with an additional $10.00 fee for non-residents. Participants must be 16 years or older.
Ultimate Fitness is a combination of aerobic and strength training, stretching and relaxation. The 6 week program, which includes a progress chart, promises to deliver visible results. It is highly recommended to bring weights and a mat. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Registration is open for the next session which begins Monday, September 13, 2010. The fee for this class is $60.00 with an additional $10.00 fee for non-residents. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
Internal Chinese Martial Arts-Tai Chi Chuan is a class that provides benefits for good health and is an excellent class for self defense. Tai Chi is a six week class that meets Mondays from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Registration is open for the next sessions which begins Monday, September 13, 2010. The fee for this class is $85.00 with an additional $10.00 fee for non-residents. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
