December 12, 2010, Redlands, Ca.- Due to an unexpected ordinance by the City of Redlands, no live performances will take place at Pharoah’s Adventure Park until further notice.

While the concert will not take place, the Christmas Toy Give Away will continue!

“The main purpose of “Merry Christmas Jam and Toy Giveaway” was to create a forum to receive donations of toys for those families in need and to distribute those toys at the event.  The concert portion was an added addition that brought collaborations from artist, sponsors and the community and while that portion will not occur, we have hundreds of toys and families in need of support so we decided to continue with the distribution of the toys at Pharoah’s,” states Terrance Stone, Founder/President/ CEO of Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy.

Once the changes were made, a brother organization to Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy immediately jumped on board to assist with the distribution of toys- Crack Down.  Crack Down empowers youth with education, employment, training and more. Its goal is to reduce gang violence in the trenches of our communities and has recently produced the Back To School Resource Fair at Pharoah’s Adventures Park; giving away hundreds of shoes, backpacks and more.

There are thousands of families and children that will not have toys and food for this holiday. Through the “Christmas Toy Give Away”, the goal is to reach as many as possible.

While all the applications are filled for the toys allotted, the goal is to be able to fulfill the needs of those on the waiting list.  Therefore, the community and other organizations are asked to purchase a $5 toy or even gift cards.  In addition, those organizations that can donate additional toys are being sought.

For more info about the toy drive, please call Mr. Terrance Stone, Founder/President/ CEO of Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy and C.E.O. of Stone Consultants, an ex-gang member who has turned his life around and dedicated it to GOD and the recovery of our youth’s innocence.

Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy has multiple locations in the Inland Empire from the High Desert to the West End of San Bernardino County, Atlanta, Arizona, Texas, Colorado and growing. Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy has received multiple awards.
