Hispanic Vote to be Topic at Redlands Republican Women Meeting
Samantha Sobarzo, Chairwoman of the National Hispanic Assembly of Riverside County, will speak to the Redlands Republican Women at their monthly meeting scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2024.
Sobarzo is also a member of the Republican Party of Riverside County’s Central Committee and a delegate to the CAGOP, recently being voted on to the CAGOP Platform Committee. She has been involved in political action and education since 2008 as part of the fight to preserve conservative values in California.
Sobarzo is enthusiastic about reaching out to local Hispanic communities to let them know that Republicans share many of their same cultural values. Growing up in a Democratic family, that had always voted the Democratic ticket. That changed when she began to realize that the party didn’t value the same morals and cultural values that she holds. “I adhere to the Latic phrase “Ora et Labora” which translates to “Pray and Work,” states Sobarzo. Her most important inspiration for continuing her work and outreach is her daughter and family.
The meeting will be held at Mill Creek Cattle Company in Mentone from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The cost for lunch is $30 (cash or check) and reservations must be made by March 8. For lunch reservations call Laurie at (909) 792-2501 or E-mail reservations@RedlandsRWF.org . Visit www.redlandsRWF.org for more information.
