Oak Valley College In Rialto Expands to Second Orange County Campus
Rialto, CA – Oak Valley College was excited to celebrate the opening of their new Orange County campus on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. Oak Valley College is located on the campus of Calvary Church of Santa Ana (1010 N. Tustin Avenue) and classes are set to start in the fall of 2024. Those in attendance at the ribbon cutting included representatives from local legislators’ offices, Santa Ana Councilmember Jessie Lopez, members of the Oak Valley College Board of Trustees, representatives of Calvary Church including Senior Pastor Eric Wakeling, and members of the Santa Ana business community.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony Oak Valley College President Eric Blum shared, “Santa Ana was a community we felt we could provide a positive impact on. Currently only 17% of Santa Ana adults hold a bachelor’s degree. Oak Valley offers an attractive option to allow students to obtain a bachelor’s degree affordably, with no student loans, and at a fraction of what other universities cost. Students receive a high-quality,
in-person, practical experience taught by practitioner faculty. Best of all, Oak Valley provides students the opportunity to stay close to home, graduate without the burden of student loan debt, and receive a WASC Accredited degree in just two years and eight months.”
Oak Valley College is currently accepting applications and classes for the fall semester starting in Santa Ana in August of 2024.
Oak Valley College is collocated in Rialto, on the campus of Sunrise Church and is now in its eighth year offering a unique educational program that provides a transformational experience.
Oak Valley College is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and offers a bachelor’s degree in business. Oak Valley College offers a non-traditional structure to help students succeed with the guarantee that they will complete their bachelor’s degree without student loan debt. The non-traditional structure includes bringing students into a cohort to attend classes in a year-round schedule. This model provides a greater degree of student support as well as allowing them to complete the normal four-year bachelor’s degree program in only two years and eight months.
