CVWBC PRESENTS “AN INTRODUCTION TO WRITING AND PUBLISHING A BOOK” ON AUGUST 7TH
PALM DESERT, CA. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center will present “An Introduction to Writing and Publishing a Book” with Edward Lopatin, DTM on August 7th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The workshop will take place at Workforce Development Center at 44-199 Monroe Street.
In this workshop, the aspiring writer in each of us will be addressed and will learn what it takes to write and publish a book, how to become more focused and organized, how to become more accepting of criticism, how to identify what someone else has already written, and most of all, how to make money as a published author.
Instructor Edward Lopatin has a Master’s in Public Administration, and is a graduate of the Coro Foundation mid-level executive program. He received Toastmasters International highest honor, the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, and has won numerous regional speech contests. He has published two books, How to Manage Your Chronic Illness, How to Survive Your Promotion, and is currently working on his third, How to Survive Your Vacation.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC is a grant-funded program which provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring designed for women business owners, but available to all.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
