Birds of a Feather
Want to learn more about birds and feathers, its flight, migration and adaptation? Come to the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, October 23 for a super-duper avian family fun day, “Birds of a Feather,” from 10am to 5pm. This program is included in paid museum admission.
In the land and water bird galleries, visitors can learn to draw birds at 10am, 1pm, and 3pm. Visitors can also visit the bird cart to see some birds up close, make a bird flip book, fold bird origami, and even try bird watching in the museum courtyard and gardens led by museum educators.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9am to 5pm. Admission is $8 (adult), $6 (military or senior), $5 (student) and $4 (child aged 5 to 12). Children under five and Museum Association members are admitted free.
