PALM DESERT, CA. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center will present a workshop entitled, “Understanding and Repairing Your Credit”, followed by Day with an Expert, in which the facilitator (Jose Manriquez of BBVA Compass Bank) will answer questions on credit and related issues.
The workshop will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the CVWBC office at 77-806 Flora Road, Suite A in Palm Desert, just off the 10 Freeway and Washington Street. Day with an Expert will follow at the same location from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost for the workshop is $20 with online registration. In this workshop, a lender will discuss the basics of credit, what lenders look for in a credit application, how bankruptcy affects you, how to go about repairing credit, and much more. This workshop is a must for anyone applying for a business loan – or for anyone with compromised credit.
Instructor for workshop is Jose Manriquez of BBVA Compass Bank. Mr. Manriquez is currently an Assistant Branch Manager, and has been in banking for five years. He looks at credit from the perspective of one who has seen first-hand at an early age how easily credit can be compromised, and how diligence and determination can change the picture around.
