Experts say now is the time to get a good deal on a used car
More than 1,000 cars offered at San Bernardino Auto Center Sale
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2012) — Car buyers in search of a used car might have picked the best time to buy and trade in their vehicles, according to Mike Graeber, general manager of the Subaru and Mitsubishi dealerships at the San Bernardino Auto Center. Several dealerships at the San Bernardino Auto Center, including Subaru, Mitsubishi, Toyota of San Bernardino, All Star Kia and Nissan, are having a Martin Luther King Used Car Sale from Friday, Jan. 13 to Monday, Jan. 16. More than 1,000 used cars will be available at the tent sale.
“Since credit standards have tightened and made it difficult to buy new cars, more people are choosing used cars,” Graeber said.
Graeber also said that the average trade-in value in January is eight percent higher than last year’s figure. According to a press release by the National Auto Dealers Association (NADA,) car sales are expected to increase as credit requirements are loosened, allowing more consumers to qualify for loans for both new and used cars.
