Grand Opening of QVC’s West Coast Distribution Center
ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA – QVC Inc., the world’s leading video and e-commerce retailer announced the grand opening of its first West Coast Distribution Center on Monday. The 1 million square foot facility is located south of Fourth Street east of Vineyard Avenue at 853 N. QVC Way. QVC is expected to bring approximately 500 new jobs to Ontario by 2018 and an additional 500 jobs by 2020.

QVC, which stands for Quality, Value and Convenience, is committed to providing its customers with thousands of the most innovative and contemporary beauty, fashion, jewelry and home products. Its programming is distributed to approximately 360 million homes worldwide through operations in the U.S., Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, France, and a joint venture in China. Based in West Chester, Pennsylvania and founded in 1986, QVC has evolved from a TV shopping company to a leading e-commerce and mobile commerce retailer.
Sares-Regis Group, a major real estate and property manager, purchased 150 acres, part of the Meredith International Centre located next to Interstate 10 at Vineyard Avenue. Sares-Regis is building three million square feet of industrial space. The QVC facility is one of seven state-of-the-art LEED certified industrial distribution buildings, occupying 41.78 acres.
