Karla Gonzalez Joins IE Small Business Development Center
INLAND EMPIRE, CA–Karla Gonzalez has joined the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (IESBDC) as a Business Consultant. In her new position she will provide counseling and training services to businesses throughout the region.
“Karla is a great addition to the IESBDC,” said Vincent McCoy, Executive Director. “Her experience helping businesses prepare for and secure federal, state and local government contracts, and ability to counsel in English and Spanish will help SBDC to greatly expand its services and effectiveness in the Hispanic business community.”
Gonzalez worked for more than five years with the Inland Empire Minority Business Enterprise, a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Gonzalez had a successful track record in government procurement and job creation. She also counseled business owners on the managerial and technical aspects of expanding their businesses, as well as the importance of sound financial management.
Gonzalez has a Bachelors degree and an MBA from the University of Redlands. She also has taken certificate programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
