PALM DESERT: Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center Presents “Crafting a Marketing Plan for Your Small Business”
COACHELLA VALLEY WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER PRESENTS “CRAFTING A MARKETING PLAN FOR YOUR SMALL BUSINESS” WITH MARILYN JANAS
PALM DESERT, Calif. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center, a grant-funded program of the U.S. Small Business Administration that provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring, will present a three part series, “Crafting a Marketing Plan for Your Small Business” beginning on July 26.
This series will continue on the following two Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the CVWBC office at 77806 Flora Road, Suite A, just off the 10 freeway in Palm Desert. The cost for the series is $40 with online registration.
This is a three part hands-on exploration of the marketing plan as it pertains to small business. Part one will be an overview of marketing research, methods, and strategies, while part two will be a discussion of the drafts written as a result of the information given in part one. Part three will wrap up the series with critiques of the finalized products.
Facilitator Marilyn Janas is Managing Partner of ValueSelling Associates, a professional training and coaching organization. Ms. Janas acquired her MBA in Business from the University of Kansas, and has a long and varied career and sales and marketing prior to her position at ValueSelling Associates.

The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.
The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for, but not limited to, women business owners.
