San Bernardino County Will Hold State of the County Program April 10
The 2013 State of the County, titled “Vision In Action,” will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Citizens Business Bank Arena located in Ontario, Calif. The event will provide more than 1,200 business, community, civic and education leaders with an opportunity to hear the latest on the Countywide Vision as well as gain insight from industry leaders. “We look forward to sharing our successes and to discussing the future of our region,” San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Chair and Second District Supervisor Janice Rutherford said.
County Government worked closely with San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), the county’s 24 cities and towns, residents, and community leaders to create a Countywide Vision, www.sbcounty.gov/vision. The County and SANBAG are now focused on continuing to work with various stakeholders to achieve the Vision by facilitating discussions where goals are set and achieved.
The State of the County event begins at 4:30 p.m. with pre-event networking and registration. The State of the County program will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a presentation by the Board of Supervisors. The event concludes with business networking.
The Inland Empire chapter of NAIOP will hold a panel presentation prior to the event from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The panel presentation titled “Economics, Development and the Environment” will be moderated by Kevin McKenna of Colliers International, with panelists: John Condas, Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP; Ed Konjoyan, Majestic Realty Co.; and Peter Herzog, Talley & Associates, Inc.
