Saxophonist Jackiem Joyner at National Orange Show Amphitheater
San Bernardino, CA – Up-and-coming smooth-jazz saxophonist Jackiem Joyner, called the “new ‘It’ boy” by Essence.com, will make a pit stop in the Inland Empire as he ‘plays his way’ to the top. The performance, which will be held at the National Orange Show Martin A. Matich Sports Center Amphitheater and Lounge on Saturday, April 16, 2011, will feature hits from Joyner’s third, self-titled album.
Touting two number one singles, Joyner has made a name for himself in the industry with his R&B feel, heavy beats, and instrumental voice that includes the alto and soprano horns, with the addition of the tenor sax in his latest album. In a recent review, JazzTimes said the album was “surely a contender for the year end smooth-jazz polls.”
Tickets to the concert can be purchased in advance or at the door for $15 or two (2) for $25. Doors open at 8 p.m. For more information, call (866) 514-3391 or visitwww.garrettmanagmentgroup.com
