Seminar: The Impact of your Choice
CVWBC PRESENTS BUSINESS ENTITIES: THE IMPACT OF YOUR CHOICE WITH KELLI COX, CPA AND MONICA AMBOSS, ATTORNEY AT LAW ON THURSDAY, JULY 21.
Palm Desert, California. – The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center (CVWBC) is presenting a workshop entitled, “Business Entities: The Impact of Your Choice” on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Workforce Development Center in Indio.

In this workshop, participants will learn the different options when it comes to legal entities, how to choose which is best for the business and the bottom line, and how to protect all assets, yet keep initial costs reasonable. The workshop provides an overview of the various business entities and how to decide which one is best for your business from legal and tax perspectives.
In order to provide a balanced view of the financial and legal reasons behind various choices, the workshop is co-facilitated by Kelli Cox, CPA and Monica Amboss, Attorney at Law. Kelli Cox is with the firm Godecke Clark, CPAs, and Monica Amboss has her own law firm. Both women have years of experience in advising women in business regarding legal entities, the possible tax advantages, and legal consequences.
The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CVWBC is a grant-funded program which provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring designed for women business owners, but available to all.
The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country. The Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
