Signs of San Bernardino – A Photography Exhibition
The Wild Lemon Project, a nonprofit social venture founded to support and propagate love for reading and writing, and for creating and experiencing art, is hosting a photography exhibition titled, “Signs of San Bernardino“.
About the show: Drive around older San Bernardino neighborhoods and you encounter untold stories of the city’s commerce. Family-owned, non-chain businesses advertise their offerings with signs. Whether hand-painted or neon, these signs are clever, compelling, sometimes funny and always one of a kind.
The event will be held at the National Orange Show Art Gallery in San Bernardino from May 19th through June 9th, 2012.
Works from local artists include: Thomas McGovern, Sant Khalsa, Tony Maher, Mia Zamora-Johnson, Steve Beswick, Jeff Malet, Micah Escamilla, and Heather Rinne.
