Check out our amazing line-up for August and September!
August 5: Simply Put (an acappella group)
“Simply Put is, simply put, an a cappella group. A soprano, mezzo, alto, tenor, baritone/vocal percussionist, and a bass. But what makes this ensemble different than most is that, less than one year from its inception, this group has created an entire original repertoire, performed huge live shows to standing ovations, recorded and released a full-length album, and been given high praises by critics and a cappella fanatics. Singing everything from jazz standards to pop and rock, Simply Put infuses each of their songs with a uniquely simple, yet highly musical texture which supports soulful leads and celebrates both the power and simplicity of the human voice.” Click here for more information from their website.
August 12: Movie Soundtrack Cabaret
Musical Director and Pianist Allen Everman will lead a live band, accompanying several professional vocalists, performing familiar tunes throughout the evening that you may recognize from some of your favorite Hollywood films.
August 19: TOP 40s LIVE
Pianist Jonathan May will be joined by professional vocalist and recording artist Baraka May and others as they perform songs from the 60s and later.
August 26: Live Jazz
Pianist Jonathan May will lead a jazz trio comprised of Benjamin May on upright bass and John Bellino on drums, accompanying the impeccable Jazz vocalist Melonie Collins and others.
September 2: The Rooftop Club will be closed this evening. Thank you.
September 9: Live Jazz
Pianist Jonathan May will lead a jazz trio comprised of Benjamin May on upright bass and John Bellino on drums, accompanying Melonie Collins and LA crooner Alistair Tober as they perform your favorite standards throughout the evening.
September 16: Simply Put (an a cappella group)

September 23: The Young Guns – The Ultimate 80’s band!
“Hilarious stage antics will keep you laughing while their infectious beats keeps you dancing. The Young Guns bring a unique blend of music, comedy, and awesome stage presence. It is impossible not to have a great time with The Young Guns! ….These boys are musically experienced. Individually (and out-of-costume) they have performed or recorded with Grammy Award winners and American Idol finalists, and have been heard in major motion pictures, national television shows, and national television ads.” Click here for more information from their website.
September 30: The Silents Sing!
The Riverside Art Museum is proud to present the first in a new series that combines the visual beauty of silent-era cinema with live performances of modern vocalizations and music. Produced by film lecturer and award-winning arts and culture journalist, Stacy Davies, in association with Jordan Beck Productions, the Rooftop Club will screen the 1922 film, Beyond the Rocks, a stunning melodrama once though lost forever featuring the only onscreen pairing of mega-stars Gloria Swanson and Rudolph Valentino. Come experience breathtaking cinema from the early days of the motion-picture industry and revel in the electric voices of live singers during this fascinating, one-of-a-kind evening!
