Welcome in the New Season At Fontana’s Tree Lighting Ceremony
Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to join them in welcoming in the new winter season at the Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of City Hall. Bring your friends and family out to enjoy the annual tradition of lighting the beautiful tree! Those in attendance can expect a visit from Santa, music and light refreshments. The ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8 at City Hall, located at 8353 Sierra Avenue.
Additionally, the public is encouraged to participate in the other winter events taking place in Fontana this December.
The annual Fontana Exchange Club Christmas parade is at 10:00 am, on Saturday, December 11. The parade begins at Sierra and Arrow Avenue in Downtown Fontana.
Fontana’s Festival of Winter starts at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Park on Saturday, December 11. This free, family friendly, event has snow, live on-stage entertainment, pictures with Santa, arts & crafts, a kids play zone and local vendors. Additional activities are available next to Miller Park at the Lewis Library in the Steelworkers’ Auditorium.
