Workshop offers entrepreneurs tips on writing a business plan
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The City of San Bernardino, Economic Development Agency, Office of Business Development will host a workshop that will offer tips on how to write a business plan from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, March 31. The workshop will be held at the Office of Business Development, 201-B N. E Street, Suite 200, in San Bernardino.
The workshop will focus on issues that are essential to a good business plan such as financial projection, budgeting, advertising and marketing strategies.
“Creating a business plan should be the first step that an entrepreneur takes when they start a new venture,” Lori Tillery, economic development manager, said. “However, we often encounter new business owners who don’t have a plan written up. A business plan is a map that lays out the company’s directions and goals and is often requested by potential financiers.”
