Breakthrough Climate Control Now Available
Inland Empire, CA: Up to SEER-60 ductless heat pump now available.
The certified Chiltrix, CX30 ductless heat pump with up to seven remote controlled air handlers are scheduled for retail delivery during February of this year. The 2-Ton, CX30 heating and cooling system uses PEX water lines found at any hardware store instead of high pressure copper lines and a water glycol mix instead of ozone depleting refrigerant. CFO’s IT professionals, renewable energy contractors, facility managers, business owners and home builders realize how this system can be a vital part of any power efficiency management program for best efficiency climate control applied to conventional, grid-tied solar, off-grid or time-of-use power saving strategies.
“The new 2-Ton CX30 is the first certified cooling and heating system using variable speed, direct current motors throughout. Installation is a snap with the PEX lines to remote controlled air handlers of various configurations and capabilities”, said Mark Walsh, Director of Energy Management. “Tonnage is only utilized where it’s needed giving the CX30 the same capability as a 5-Ton system in many situations with lower install costs”, he added.
The CX30 uses a very low power draw at start-up making it ideal for solar applications, is easily scalable up to 30-Tons, effectively heats down to -14F and integrates well with solar thermal and boiler infrastructure and has a server room cooling option that allows the CX30 to operate at an estimated average efficiency of 60-SEER.
