Colton: Boot Camp For A Better Business Plan
COLTON, Ca. – If your business plan needs shaping-up, bring it to a three-day business plan writing workshop Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 22-24, offered by the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.
“Business Plan Boot Camp: 3-Part Business Plan Writing Series” will guide participants through the business plan development process while maximizing the return on time invested. Each workshop incorporates hands-on activities and examples, emphasizing the required elements of a good plan and how to weave information into a professional, well-written whole.
The workshop is designed for both start-up businesses and for those who are seeking to formalize and refine their business plan. A good business plan serves two purposes: it articulates a vision and details how the business will work and make a profit. Once the business has launched, it becomes a guidebook for managing the business and keeping it on track.
The first meeting will be on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 6-9 p.m., followed by the second and third sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 23 and 24. The workshop will be held at the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s Colton office, 1003 E. Cooley Dr., Suite 109. Cost is $60 per participant. To register, visit the IEWBC website at www.iewbc.org.
