Wealth & Homeownership Workshop to be held in Ontario, California on February 17, 2018
ONTARIO, CA – Buying a home is one of the biggest steps anyone will ever take, especially in this market where uncertainty is high. For Billy Ross, a Realtor, Broker, and local Inland Empire homeowner, he is all too familiar with the overwhelming process that homebuyers face beyond saving for the down payment. He wants to fix that.
“I created this workshop to inform first-time home buyers about the ins and outs of buying a home,” said Billy Ross. “Ultimately, I want people to walk feeling empowered with the tools they’ll need to be smart, savvy buyers in an area that is low on inventory. ”
Billy Ross opened his own real estate agency in 2015 after working in real estate for more than 10 years. His background in foreclosures and short sales gave him unique insights into important considerations for future homeowners. “It’s really all about crafting a vision and knowing how to communicate that with a Realtor. Starting your home search from the perspective of building your wealth can make a difference in your results and goes a step above simply needing a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, in a nice school district.”
The Wealth and Homeownership Workshop Series will be an interactive and informative workshop held every third Saturday of the month at Billy Ross, Realtor’s office in Ontario. The next workshop will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. The workshop will go through the home buying process from paperwork to property inspections and will help homebuyers get specific about their needs. At the conclusion of the workshop participants can practice their new house hunting skills by going on a property tour.
For young women looking to purchase a home, workshops like these can be particularly important. “We recognize a trend that young women are purchasing homes, and the Inland Empire is a great place to do that,” says Dana Love, an agent with Billy Ross, Realtor. This workshop will allow you to get more hands-on and become a smarter house hunter.”
