THE CRITICAL FIRST CHAPTER
On Wednesday, February 22, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. mystery/suspense author Brenda Hill will be at the Ovitt Family Community Library Meeting Room to talk about writing “The Critical First Chapter.” The reason most manuscripts are rejected is a draggy beginning. Some agents say they can tell after reading the first page if a manuscript is worth reading. Learn the five essential elements your first chapter must include to get your book on the path to publication. The library is located at 215 East C Street in Ontario. This event is free and open to the public age 16 and older.
