The Inland Empire Quality of Life Summit: Two Counties, Two Days, One Goal
The Inland Empire Economic Partnership’s initiative to improve our region’s quality of life through awareness of resources, opportunities and challenges.
This inaugural event aims to highlight the opportunities and current challenges in the areas of Education and Workforce Development, Healthcare and Well-Being, Transportation and Infrastructure, Business, and Sustainable Communities. The event is focused on addressing these disciplines with the notion of cross-training our region’s professionals and educating key decision makers. By bringing our opportunities and short-comings to the attention of top government officials and stakeholders, we can then create advocacy strategies to improve our region’s quality of life.
“We live and work in a great region with much to celebrate, yet we face significant challenges. Addressing these challenges head on with a goal of improving our quality of life will require extensive collaboration. It is critical that we work together regionally to secure the resources we both need and deserve. This Summit will be a catalyst to create an environment of collaboration, information and resource sharing, and building strategic relationships”, said Dan Rendler, IEEP Chairman of the Board and Director, Inland Empire Region for the Gas Company.
“Sharing best-practices and success stories among industries will highlight the abundance of opportunities within our grasp. Our goal is to build upon successes and create an unstoppable momentum of support from our region’s business and government leaders. The region is on the forefront of prosperity, this event will help the region transition with ease”, said Paul C. Granillo President and CEO of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership.
