4/5, Dark Star Orchestra – This Grateful Dead tribute band performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside. Tickets start at $37.35.
4/6, 21st Annual Riverside Air Show – Free admission to a Riverside tradition. Enjoy the pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. Parking is $10. Show is from 9-4 p.m.
4/6-4/7, Spring Plant Sale – The UCR Botanic Gardens will hold a spring plant sale beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. More than 10,000 plants in more than 600 varieties will be available.
4/6, Annual Butterfly Day – Enjoy a celebration of the butterfly at the Louis Robidoux Nature Center. Event is $3 per person and parking is free. The Louis Robidoux Nature Center is located at 5370 Riverview Drive Jurupa Valley, CA 92509.
4/7, First Sundays – From 1 to 4 p.m. every first Sunday, children and teens can check out free programs in Riverside like making clown masks at the Fox Performing Arts Center and panning for gold at the Riverside Public Library.
Thru 4/7 – “Go Back for Murder” – The Riverside Community Players presents this Agatha Christie murder mystery through April 7. Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15.
4/6, “The Two Sides of Mozart” – Come hear the season finale of the Redlands Symphony Orchestra feature Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Chapel. Tickets start at $15.
Thru 4/7, 66ers Baseball – The Inland Empire 66ers takes on Modesto this weekend at San Manuel Stadium.
Thru August 2013, “Always a Bridesmaid” – The San Bernardino County Museum’s exhibit features artifacts and costumes about marriage ceremonies from the 1860s to the 1960s.
4/5-4/6, Ontario Improv – Yannis Pappas headlines at the Ontario Improv this weekend. Two items minimum per person. Tickets start at $20. 18 and older please.
4/6, Water District Open House – The Cucamonga Valley Water District will hold an Earth Day and Open House celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
4/5-4/7, Nuclear Cowboyz – Get your tickets now for this weekend’s Nuclear Cowboys shows at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.
Thru 4/7, Quakes Baseball – The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes take on the Lake Elsinore Storm this weekend at The Epicenter.
Thru 4/14, “The Phantom Tollbooth” – The Mainstreet Theatre Company presents “The Phantom Tollbooth” through next weekend at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga. General admission tickets are $16; seniors/youth are $14.
Thru 4/21, “Godspell” – Come see this classic musical this weekend at The Grove Theatre in Upland. Tickets start at $15.
4/6, Rocky Horror Picture Show – Dress up in your best Dr. Frank-N-Furter costume and bring your toast to the weekly midnight showing of this cult classic. Tickets are $11.50 for adults, $9 for students with valid ID, and $8 for seniors.
3/30, Dos Lagos Stadium 15 – The free Saturday Family Film Series continues this weekend with “Zookeeper” The movie starts at 10 a.m. at the Corona theater.
Thru 4/16, New Exhibit – The Norco College Art Gallery unveils its new exhibit, “Women in Art and Animation” at 6 p.m. Friday. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
4/5, First Friday Art Walk – Claremont’s free monthly art walk through the Village begins at 5:30 p.m. and offers musicians, street performers, children’s activities and various visual artists.
4/5, 1 Year Anniversary Party – Join the ladies at Glitter Lifestyle Boutique in Claremont Village for their 1 Year Anniversary Party. Free to join in on the fun, though an RSVP is required.
4/6, Village Walking Tour – Enjoy a guided tour of some of Claremont’s amazing architecture on the first Saturday of each month beginning at 10 a.m. Advances reservations requested. The fee is $5 per person.

Thru 5/5, “Sweet Charity” – Come see this Neil Simon musical through the beginning of May at the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater in Claremont. Tickets start at $53.
Thru 4/14, “The 39 Steps”- A comedic take on this Alfred Hitchcock classic is presented by the Big Bear Theatre Project through mid-April at the Masonic Lodge Theater in Big Bear Lake. Shows run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
4/5, Family Fun Night – Bring the family to the Community Recreation Center in Temecula on Friday evening for some giant-sized reading fun! Pre-registration is recommended.

4/5-4/7, Art Festival – The 11th Annual Indian Wells Arts Festival is this weekend at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Food, gourmet specialities, children’s activities and more than 200 award-winning artists will be showcased. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission is $12; children are free.
