An Unforgettable Re-Ribbon Cutting in Redlands
Redlands, CA – The Unforgettables Foundation knows how to bring its community and it’s constituency together!
On Friday, June 30 the 17-year-old Redlands based charity hosted the one-of-a-kind 8 Chamber re-ribbon cutting mixer on the roof above famed Eureka Burger. Eight regional Chambers of Commerce came together to celebrate the re-starting of The Unforgettables web-site, which has been re-built by UpDog Marketing of Grand Terrace.
Over 200 friends and volunteers of The Unforgettables (also known as TUF) attended. The local chambers which participated were; Beaumont, Colton, Grand Terrace, Highland, Loma Linda, Redlands, San Bernardino and Yucaipa. Additionally, Tammy Ryles of the Black Chamber of the Inland Empire participated and spoke, and The Redlands Police Officers Foundation presented a surprise donation of $1,000.
TUF has averaged helping 250 financially strapped families per year for the past 5 years, for when monies are needed for funeral costs for a child, 18 years down to 32 weeks of pregnancy. To donate go to www.unforgettables.org.
The Unforgettables Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Timothy Evans in 1999. During a decade of clinical ministry to children and their families, Evans assisted families with the many crises surrounding the death of a child not the least of which are the crushing financial burdens experienced by families with limited resources.
Assisted by Inland Empire educators, medical professionals, social workers, CPA’s, attorneys, bankers, morticians and others, Evans created The Unforgettables Foundation. Paramount among aspects of the Foundation’s mission is to assist low income families provide a dignified, appropriate burial for their children who have passed away.
