4th Annual Unforgettable Bachelor Auction
A Fundraiser for The Unforgettables Foundation and the Businesswoman’s Association of San Bernardino County
Redlands, CA – November ushers in holidays and holy days for many Inland Empire residents – bringing the reasons for giving…. yes, some getting. On Saturday evening, November 19th, dozens of local ladies will be attending the 4th Annual Unforgettable Bachelor Auction in downtown Redlands at the Speakeasy on State with a mission to buy a date with a handsome and eligible bachelor to benefit two missions.
The Bachelor Auction is a unique fundraiser for two local causes – The Unforgettables Foundation (TUF) and the Businesswomen’s Association of San Bernardino County (BASBC). Chaired by TUF and BASBC board member, Christine Beamer and Co Chair and TUF board candidate Maryellen Shaw, RN.- both of Yucaipa. The planning committee of 16 female volunteers is also assisted by Vice Chairs Clarisa Kirk, Michelle Kimbro, Leslie Jimenez, Shelley Burnach and Clarisse Paul and TUF staff Jen Zambrano and Tim Evans.
Recently, 27 men were selected in age categories 23-73 years old covering many races, religions and careers.
Guest emcees and hosts include local politicians – Pat Gilbreath of Redlands, Acquinetta Warren of Fontana, Penny Lilburn of Highland, Denise Hoyt of Yucaipa, and Jose Gonzales of San Bernardino.
Tickets are available at Facebook and www.unforgettables.org or on Eventbrite or by calling the TUF office at 909-335-1600. Ticket prices are $45pp or $80 per couple which include entry, food, drinks and dancing.
Beamer says, “we are presenting a wonderful “woman’s night out” for girlfriends to come together to get a friend a great date package for the holidays. All of this is about raising money for burial funds for families when a child has died and youth scholarships. Evans adds, “great fun for great causes”
The community is invited and encouraged to attend and participate in the collaboration event.
