Chris Berch as New General Manager of Jurupa Community Services District
Jurupa Valley, CA – The Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) Board of Director’s announced that Chris Berch, a twenty-year veteran of the water industry, will become JCSD’s General Manager, beginning on June 3, 2019. Mr. Berch brings a wide range of operational knowledge and management experience to JCSD.
Berch comes to JCSD from the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) where he served as the Executive Manager of Engineering/Assistant General Manager. In his years at IEUA, where he began as an operator, his career has progressed through a variety of roles. He managed Engineering and Environmental Resources as well as the 385-million-dollar regional Chino Basin Program.
“JCSD plays an important role in the cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley, providing essential resources and services that improve the quality of life for the community and its residents,” said Chris Berch. “I’ve had the privilege of working closely with JCSD staff for many years and have always been impressed with their reputation for innovation and leadership in the region. I’m excited to be a part of such an exceptional team and look forward to working closely with the JCSD Board of Directors to accomplish the District’s goals and objectives.”

Mr. Berch is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), a Grade 5 Wastewater Operator and a Board-Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE). The emphasis of his education was in Water and Wastewater Engineering and Management.
