The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County has been a mainstay of paleontology in southernCalifornia for nearly a century. Over the past few years, this venerable institution has undergone a metamorphosis. The crown jewel of their renovation effort is the all-new, 14,000-square-foot Dinosaur Hall. Twice the size of the Los Angeles museum’s old dinosaur galleries, it rivals many of the world’s leading dinosaur halls for sheer breathtaking spectacle—including the world’s only public display of a growth series of the famed predator Tyrannosaurus rex.
Participants will check in at the San Bernardino County Museum at 8:00 a.m. and return about 6:30 p.m. The cost for Museum Association members is $80 per person or $75 for a senior or child. Non-members costs are $90 and $85, respectively. Reservations must be received by March 8. A reservation form is available at www.sbcountymuseum.org or by calling (909) 307-2669 ext. 225.
