Last Information Session Offered for Careers in School Business Management
A free information session for those interested in a certificate in School Business Management will be held on Wednesday evening, May 18, at 5 p.m. in Cal State San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center. This will be the last information session for the 2011–2012 cohort program.
The College of Extended Learning and the College of Education at California State University, San Bernardino have partnered to offer this professional Certificate in School Business Management for current school personnel and those who would like to enter this field. Designed in cooperation with an advisory council of practicing school business managers and endorsed by the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), this comprehensive certificate program includes courses on contemporary management, finance and budgeting, school accounts, personnel administration, and legal aspects of education. Classes are held on Saturdays beginning this spring, with graduation scheduled for winter 2012. Neither a degree nor admission to the university is required.

Those who sign up for the program on the evening of the information session will receive a five percent discount. No payment is required at the information session.
