Eastvale Welcomes Jeffery Veik as New Operational Division Fire Chief
Eastvale, CA – The City of Eastvale is pleased to formally welcome Northwest Division Chief, Jeffrey Veik as the new Operational Division Chief for the City of Eastvale and report to the Eastvale City Manager. We are thrilled to have him serve the Eastvale community.
Chief Veik joins Eastvale with twenty-six (26) years of fire service with CAL FIRE. Chief Veik has been a Division Chief for six years and during his career, has been involved in the following CAL FIRE Disciplines: Cooperative Fire Protection, Camp Program Schedule, Schedule A (Municipal Fire Protection), Schedule B (Wildland Fire Protection), Truck Program Instruction, ICS Course, Training and Safety Program, and Incident Management Teams.
Chief Veik has been assigned to CAL FIRE’s Incident Management Teams for fifteen years, while working in the Plans Section, Operations Section, and the Command Staff. Chief Jeffrey Veik is also a CAL FIRE Agency Representative and the Deputy Incident Commander of CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 6.
