Fairmount Park to host Summer Concerts in the Park
Riverside, CA – The City of Riverside, Parks Recreation and Community Services Department has partnered with the Riverside Downtown Partnership to host the annual Summer Concerts in the Park event at Fairmount Park. This award-winning event features live entertainment, food vendors and youth Fun Zone. New this year, the event will feature a beer/wine garden hosted by Brooks Bar (outside alcohol not permitted). Each night hosts a different live band, performing a wide variety of music styles from latin to classic rock. Concerts begin with performances by contestants from the new Dance Dance Riverside Competition.
The annual Summer Concerts in the Park youth Fun Zone, provides a variety of fun-filled activities including bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, and slot car racing. A Fun Zone pass can be purchased for $4 per night or a season pass at $12 for the entire 6-week concert series.
The Summer Concerts in the Park are held on Wednesdays from 6 – 9 p.m. June 13 to July 25 (excluding July 4) at Fairmount Park – 2601 Fairmount Blvd. For further information, visit RivReg.org.
