RIVERSIDE, CA — Phenix Technology, Inc., a 46-year old Inland Empire firefighting equipment manufacturer was announced as the winner of the highly coveted E=MC2 Innovation Award for Human Capital & Talent.

The prestigious Human Capital & Talent award, recognizing Phenix Technology, Inc.’s success in innovative training and development of their people, was collected during the annual Manufacturer’s Summit Lunch at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside.
The company first began their Lean manufacturing journey in 2017 and has enjoyed the tremendous benefits of a full work culture shift ever since.

This year’s Innovation Awards Committee consisted of members with a combination of 100 years of experience in the manufacturing and education industries and deeply rooted in manufacturing success in the Inland Empire. Committee members including former chair and founding officer of MCIE Wallace Brithinee, president of Brithinee Electric; Kash Gokli, professor of manufacturing and engineering management, and the Director of Engineering Clinic in the Harvey Mudd College Department of Engineering; and, Innovation Awards Chair Lisa Anderson, president of LMA Consulting Group.
