Riverside Fire Receives Accreditation
Riverside, CA – On March 12, 2019, The City of Riverside Fire Department was awarded accreditation status from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI.)
The accreditation recognizes best practices and self-accountability and validates that the City of Riverside Fire Department is providing residents, visitors and the business communities with industry-leading fire protection services and fostering pride amongst its members. The CFAI accreditation program provides a framework for fire services to set goals, develop evidence-based strategic action plans and improve fire protection services.
The multi-year process involved creating a Strategic Plan and a Standard of Coverage plan. The City of Riverside Fire Department has a proud tradition of providing excellent service and will continue to maintain the high standards expected by the community.
