$400,000 Transportation Funds for the City of Big Bear Lake
$400,000 IN NEW GRANT FUNDS AWARDED TO THE CITY OF BIG BEAR LAKE
BIG BEAR LAKE, CA – In early October, the Board of Directors for the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) approved the award of two Transportation Development Grants (TDA) to the City of Big Bear Lake. These two awards will account for more than $400,000 in funding toward the ongoing Stanfield Cutoff Connectivity Project and the planned addition of a bus stop on Big Bear Boulevard.

Big Bear Lake finished first with its application for the TDA Article 3 Grant in the amount of $322,000 to be used to fund a portion of the Stanfield Cutoff Connectivity Project. This project is one of many planned to bring to fruition the Master Plan of Trails and link the valley through a series of connective multi-use paths and trails.
