Fontana Celebrates Parks and Recreation Month
Join us in Celebrating Parks and Recreation Month
Fontana, Calif., – Summer is here, which means it’s time to get out and explore the many recreation facilities, programs, services, parks and open spaces that Fontana has to offer. During the month of July, join in on the fun as the City celebrates Parks and Recreation Month.
The City of Fontana provides these amenities to build a strong community identity, along with the ability to enrich the life of every Fontana resident through health and wellness, education, environmental awareness, and arts and entertainment programs and events.
There are a number of new park amenities available including but not limited to: new playground equipment at San Sevaine Park (5355 Cherry Avenue), Hunters Ridge Park (5072 Cherry Avenue), and the newly completed Dodgers Dreamfield at Jack Bulik Park (16581 Filbert Street) which is the first of its type in Fontana. Additional playground equipment improvements are continuously ongoing throughout the City at parks to improve accessibility and encourage active play.

The City of Fontana Community Services Department works year round to provide a diverse variety of interactive programs for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy including Above the Limits programs, Fontana Walks, recreation classes, aquatics programs, sports programs, senior programs and community events.
