Community Vision for Land Use and Transportation on Display During Open House – Sat. Oct. 29th 9 a.m. – Noon
Fontana, Calif. – The Fontana Forward General Plan Update provides a blueprint for growth and development in Fontana over the next 20 years. The plan is taking shape based on feedback from residents, business owners, and stakeholders. All the input has been compiled into a proposed citywide vision for land use and transportation that will be on display during the General Plan Update Open House on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Fontana Senior Center (16710 Ceres Avenue) from 9 a.m. – noon.
A lot has happened since the Fontana Forward General Plan Update began in 2015. The city has hosted a variety of meetings and workshops to engage residents throughout the process. This Fall, city staff will be seeking public comment on a proposed vision, goals, and strategies to achieve a better future for Fontana. “It’s not too late to provide your comments on what you want our land use and transportation to look like over the next two decades,” said Fontana Associate Planner Dawn Rowe. “The community is invited to stop by the Fontana Senior Center anytime between 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, October 29th.” Click here for an update on the plan’s progress.
