Outreach to Homeless Individuals and Families in Crestline
Crestline, CA – 10/4/17 – Homeless and low-income individuals and families can access a variety of supportive services and resources during the Project Connect outreach event on Oct. 12 in the city of Crestline.
Project Connect, hosted by the San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership (SBCHP) and its collaborative partners, will provide attendees with no-cost medical screenings, legal assistance, employment services, housing support services, child care information and referrals to local community and county service providers.
“Project Connect outreach events are held periodically throughout San Bernardino County and serve as a one-stop resource center for individuals and families who often lack transportation to regional offices,” said Tom Hernandez, Office of Homeless Services Manager. “Through these events, the SBCHP is able to connect more supportive service providers to those in need of mainstream resources.”
Project Connect will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 23079 Crest Forest Drive in Crestline.
