San Bernardino Police Update: City Chief’s go #OverTheEdge
Chief’s raise over $6,600 to go to Habitat for Humanity veterans!
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan and Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz raised over $6,600 for the #OverTheEdge Habitat for Humanity fundraiser. Chief Burguan lost the fundraising battle by only $15 and had to wear his Class A uniform as he rappelled down the side of Riverside City Hall! It was a fun community day for all who participated! And a BIG THANK YOU to all those who donated to this campaign!
Youth Leadership Academy
This week 20 kids from San Bernardino participated in the week-long “Lead SB” Youth Leadership Academy hosted by the Police Department. Teens learned team building skills, future planning tips, heard from business leaders and elected officials and got to know our SBPD officers. It was a great success and we hope to do it again next summer!
