Volunteer Designers for Festival of Trees to Fill Riverside Convention Center
Decorating and preparation for the 29th Annual Festival of Trees
RIVERSIDE, Ca. — The Greatest Show is Christmas, Citrus Heritage, Coco’s Journey, and the Heart of the Grinch are a few of more than 50 themed and traditional holiday trees that hundreds of volunteers will be decorating on Monday in preparation for the 29th Annual Festival of Trees at Riverside Convention Center.
The trees are a highlight at the annual Festival of Trees gala set to take place on Tuesday evening. The Friday after Thanksgiving, the Convention Center will be open to the public with three days of free fun-filled activities including visits with Santa, storytelling and a Jingle Bell Jam. Media representatives are invited to visit the designers on Monday for photos and interviews to kick off this cherished tradition, which raises awareness and support for pediatric programs at RUHS Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
